WinFTPServer是Windows98/NT/XP平台上的多线程FTP服务器。WinFTPServer的”LogToScreen”功能中存在缓冲区溢出漏洞，成功利用这个漏洞的攻击者可以在目标系统中执行任意代码。”LogToScreen”，这个功能允许程序显示服务器的登录屏幕。默认下程序启用了这个函数(被称为Log-SCR)，因此恶意用户可以触发unicode缓冲区溢出。
